With over 25 years of experience and knowledge in the industry, and over 14 years as a university researcher and lecturer, we can truly provide a clear insight into the load capacity of gearboxes. Damage indicators (contact fatigue, pitting, micropitting, spalling, wear, scuffing of the associated tooth profiles) can determine whether there was an overload beyond the operating specifications. The failure of the cooling or lubrication system can be detected, as well.

In collaboration with the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of the University of Technology Budapest, the customer can also order a detailed material test reports, which provides informations about the presumed causes of failure (based on micro- and macrogeometric errors), chemical composition of the material (by alloy analysis), and about the suitability of heat treatment (by hardness measurements).
